Entity Identifier (LEI). GLEIF manages a network of partners, the LEI issuing organizations, to provide
trusted services and open, reliable data for unique legal entity identification worldwide. GLEIF
services ensure the operational integrity of the Global LEI System and facilitate making the LEI a

Position summary

As a working student in the Data Quality Management and Data Science team you will take on the
roles of both a Business Analyst and a Data Hacker. Ideally, you have a passion for problem-solving, a
desire to make an impact and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

We seek a highly motivated student, who loves using analytics, artificial intelligence and data
visualization to solve real-world problems.

Key responsibilities

Analyze large and complex datasets, develop new metrics and support the team in the
presentation of the results.
Automate internal tasks to boost efficiency.
Support the team in developing a robust data quality monitoring and reporting system.
Conduct research on business requirements to support the development of standards.
Develop supporting solutions used by other GLEIF work units.

Experience and competencies for success

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with focus on data analytics, such as (economic)
computer science, data science, natural sciences, mathematics or a related discipline.
Strong technical skills in data analysis, statistics and programming.
Strong working knowledge of Python and SQL.
Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Experience with transformer models and natural language processing.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Some knowledge or experience with PHP Laravel is a plus.
