The Global Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) System is designed to increase transparency in the global market place to the benefit of both the public and private sectors. To ensure that the system evolves in line with user requirements, the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) engages in regular dialog with representatives of a broad range of industry sectors as well as public authorities around the world.

To facilitate regular exchange of information relevant to specific market segments GLEIF is in the process of establishing several dedicated stakeholder groups.
